WSI’s Washington ProFile Keeps Diplomats “In the Know”
Washington, D.C. – The World Security
Institute’s Russian-language newsletter, Washington ProFile, may be part of the
regular reading of Kyrgyzstan’s diplomats. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Kyrgyzstan has recently announced the selection of the Washington ProFile as part
of its suggested reading list for its foreign relations professionals.
This distinction is an honor for the D.C.-based publication that provides
news and analysis about the United States to the Russian-reading community
worldwide.
A link to the Washington ProFile has been placed on the official website for the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan at: http://www.mfa.kg/site/11_ru.htm.
The bi-weekly Washington ProFile is produced in Russian and English and is available
on-line. The Washington ProFile is an information agency of the International Media
division of the World Security Institute (WSI). The mission of WSI’s International
Media division is to bridge the chasm of misunderstanding that exists between the
United States and the rest of the world. Consisting of weekly e-publications focused
on regions around the world, this division presents facts, information, and a
diversity of voices and opinions to its readers.
